Acts 10:38 “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed of the devil, for God was with him”.
Some years ago, I visited home from school, having been told that my elder brother was home. He had an accident and was brought back with a fractured bone.
I went into my room, knelt down and prayed, and the Lord whispered in my heart, “Tell your siblings to gather, pray and I will heal him now”.
I was scared, but I acted anyway…
As I responded in faith and prayed for him, he was miraculously healed, dropped his crutches and walked me to the road as I returned to school. It became news in the neighborhood!
Because of that single act of faith and obedience, the Lord planted a seed in my heart that would bring forth a great harvest in the days to come.
Since then, I have seen many drop their canes and crutches, get out of wheel chairs and walk free…
In His name, I have seen the paralyzed raised, deaf ears open, blind eyes see, growths disappear, cancers healed and the barren conceive!
As I study the gospels, and the Acts of the Apostles, I see that the Lord Jesus is indeed a healing Jesus.
I say to you today, pay attention to the stirrings of the spirit in your heart and respond in faith. Jesus wants to reveal his love and compassion to the world through you.
His anointing will make you a philanthropist, distributing the goods of divinity to humanity.
