When God calls a man to be His spokesman or servant for the purpose of advancing His kingdom on earth, there’s always the excitement of knowing that God is mindful of you and has chosen you for such a noble task, but after the Call comes a season of death.
You will be required to lay down that great vision and all your ambitions and human desires for recognition, honour and fame at his feet.
You will have to go through the process of death to your fleshly desires, so that you can selflessly bear the burden of the Lord.
And how long this season lasts in your life is determined by your yieldedness and submission to the will of the Father.
It is in this season where the desire for recognition and fame has been purged through the process of death that you truly fall in love with Jesus and begin to live your life for his pleasure and glory.
Then the Father commissions you with the resurrection power to be his witness to the ends of the earth.
Any servant that does not pass through death unto the resurrection life will be bought by men and will deny Jesus when it matters most.
Don’t be afraid of going through your process of death and don’t compare your season with another man.
It is out of death that the resurrection life and glory is released.
