As I prayed this morning, I heard the Spirit of the Lord say…
“It’s time to begin to make prophetic decrees like never before. This is how my purposes are birthed in the earth.”
I want to share a few things with you.
What is a decree?
A decree is an official order that has the force of a law.
It’s a royal command. Ezra 5:13.
A decree is prophetic when it’s in accordance with the will of God.
A prophetic decree is an authoritative word that unlocks the supernatural and causes a shift to take place.
7 steps to making a Prophetic decree
- Find out God’s will on the matter. Deut. 29:29, Prov. 25:2
- Align your insight with the Scripture. Ps.119:89, Matt. 22:29
- Recognize your position in Christ. Eph. 2:6, Rom. 8:17
- See with the eyes of faith. Heb.11:1,3, 2Cor 4:13,18
- Step into your priestly/kingly office. Rev.5:10, 1pet 2:9,
- Use the name of Jesus. Phil2:9,10, John14:14
- Make your declaration. Job 22:28 Mark 11:23.
A Prophetic decree will unlock kingdom resources, change atmospheres, touch hearts, breakthrough oppositions and shift situations to align with God’s eternal purposes.
As a new creation in Christ, you are a life-giving spirit…
And God says open your mouth wide and I will fill it. Ps 81:10.
The prophetic is both revelatory and creative.
It’s time to make prophetic decrees that will birth God’s purpose in our lives and land…
